4D Color Doppler Ultrasound

Category 4D Color Doppler, Ultrasound

A Doppler ultrasonography, also known as a Color Doppler test, is a non-invasive procedure used to assess the flow of blood via blood arteries. It assists clinicians in assessing blood flow through major arteries and veins, such as those in the arms, legs, and neck. It can reveal stopped or restricted blood flow through small sections in the main arteries of the neck, which could cause a stroke.

It can also detect blood clots in the leg veins (deep vein thrombosis, or DVT), which can break free and obstruct blood flow to the lungs (pulmonary embolism). During pregnancy, Doppler ultrasonography may ‌examine blood flow in an unborn baby (fetus) to determine the fetus’s health.

List of Common Color Doppler test procedures:

  • Abdominal
  • Carotid
  • Gravid Uterus
  • Renal
  • Single Limb Doppler (Arterial and Venous)
  • Dual Limb Doppler (Arterial and Venous) Doppler ultrasonography is a specialized ultrasound method that allows doctors to observe and measure blood flow via the body’s arteries and veins.

It classified Doppler ultrasonography into three types:

  • Color Doppler is a method of displaying the speed and direction of blood flow in a blood artery by converting Doppler measurements into an array of colors using a computer.
  • Power Doppler is more sensitive than color Doppler and can provide more data about blood flow, especially when the blood flow is slow. Power Doppler‌ does not assist the radiologist in determining the direction of blood flow, which may be significant sometimes.
  • Rather than a color image, spectral Doppler presents blood flow measurements visually in terms of distance traveled per unit of time. It may also translate information about blood flow into a unique sound that can be heard with each heartbeat.

Jeewan Ultrasound employs the most advanced and versatile ultrasonic diagnostics technology available, which can technically be utilized to image every area of our body. With the addition and growth of Color Doppler imaging to the ultrasound system, we have become the top diagnostic center for the most exact results.

We have built an extraordinary reputation in obstetric and gynecological ultrasonography throughout the years. We continue to be pioneers in this sector, and we now have patients crossing states specifically for these challenging assessments.

We provide a variety of Ultrasound Services to our clients, including USG Scan/Private Scan, Echocardiogram Test, Breast Ultrasound, 3D/4D Sonography during pregnancy, and many more.

What need I do to prepare?

  • You should dress comfortably and loosely for your ultrasound test. You may be required to remove all clothing and jewelry from the area being checked.
  • During the process, you may be required to wear a gown.
  • Unless an abdominal (renal) Doppler examination is being conducted, no fasting is usually necessary.
  • Always bring previous records and a doctor’s prescription with you to the examination.
